Wes Mussio became a lawyer in 1991 and since that time has worked almost exclusively in the area of ICBC injury claims.  He has also handled other personal injury claims including slip and fall matters.

In his initial 12 years working as a lawyer, Mr. Mussio worked at two of the biggest ICBC defence firms doing principally ICBC defence work.  As a result, Mr. Mussio gained extensive knowledge of the ICBC practices from the defence side.

Over the last 7 years, Mr. Mussio has been working at Murphy Battista pursuing injury claims against ICBC and other insurance companies.  He now applies the knowledge gained working as an ICBC defence lawyer against ICBC in favour of his clients.

Mr. Mussio is a strong advocate of the mediation process with a view to settlement out of court.  However, in the event that ICBC or another insurance company is unreasonable, he has no difficulty attending at court having acted as lead counsel in well over 150 Supreme Court and Court of Appeal trials.
